Episode 64: Meeting Brother Outsider (PODCAST)
This week Tight and BG sit down with writer/filmmaker Bennett Singer to discuss "Brother Outsider", a documentary highlighting the life and work of Bayard Rustin, a civil rights activist and mentor to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who dared to live his life as an openly gay man. Despite being marginalized to a behind the scenes role due to his sexuality, it was Bayard Rustin who was responsible for organizing the 1963 March on Washington, where Dr. King delivered the infamous "I Have A Dream" speech. Meet the ousted brother.
