Let There Be Light

Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Thoughts create things…You may not be what you think, but what you think you are…Your words form your world. These all are phrases centered on “The Secret” – Law of Attraction. Your words form your world tends to be my phrase of choice surrounding discussions around the law of attraction.  It was during a recent conversation with a coworker where that ah ha moment (that moment of clarity) around that phrase resonated with me.

Here’s a firsthand glimpse into my mind and my thoughts while the dialogue with my coworker was in progress - my brain dump (this really happened in my brain):
 
Genesis 1:3: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light? I wonder what he means by that. Ummmm.. (Light Build comes on)…..WOW…God is Deep….. WOW Genesis 1:3 actually has three things happening with this verse. I wonder if most people know this.

1.       When God said let there be light, most religious folks take that literally and stop right there. Genesis 1 is more around how the earth was created and how evolution is absolutely wrong. I remember when that pastor talked about how light switches are right by the door so the first thing we do when we walk into a room is turn the lights on. That’s what God did in Genesis 1:3- he turned the lights on so that he could create the earth. True .I bet most people stop right here with that verse. Kind of like they do with the Fat Kid love cake line*… (ummm).. and don’t take a deeper dive into what he’s trying to show us…WOW God is deep…

Continuing my thought process…

2.        So Genesis 1:26 says we are made in his image…Romans something said “be transformed by the renewing of your mind”.. So what is God saying in Genesis 1:3 when he said let there be light? If we are made in his image, then the same power he used to create this world, we have the same power to form our world. However, is he’s saying that in order to create the right type of world, we must first turn the light on in our mind? That’s a double meaning...So if our words form our world – what we speak turns into existence. Therefore we must first turn our light on –  become aware. Light is symbolic of consciousness so God is telling us before we create our world, we need to become conscious so that the world we create is the world aligned to our purpose.. WOW..WOW…WOW.. This is DEEP..WOW..

Continuing my thought process…..

3.       Ok, so if we are gods (little g), The book of Genesis is basically God giving us an example of how to create our World. WOW.. That’s deep….so we must first speak things into existence like God did (God Said), but do so with a consciousness mind. That’s pretty good!!! Man, let me get back to my desk..

Conclusion:

1.)    The first thing to create in my world is light.

2.)    Conscious thoughts create a consciousness world.  As you form your world through your  thoughts and your words, make sure you are speaking with a conscious mind.

      3.)    Genesis provides us with an example of what to create and when to create in our world….

P.S. When 50 said, I love you like a Fat Kid loves cake, what he was really saying was, I love you so much that its unhealthy.
